Hello, I’m Cameron, an Engineering student at Dalhousie University.
I decided to study electrical engineering because I’ve always been interested in electronics and the way electrical systems power and connect modern technology. Over time, that interest expanded into a broader curiosity about advanced technologies and their real-world applications. My interest in DSS and the MANTIS project comes from a long-standing fascination with space exploration and aerospace technology. I’m excited by the opportunity to contribute to projects that combine engineering, innovation, and practical problem solving in a field that continues to push technological boundaries.
Outside of academics, I enjoy staying active and spending time exploring different technical interests and projects. I’m always looking for opportunities to develop new skills and gain experience through engineering projects and collaborative work.

My name is Keara and I'm a first-year Engineering student at Dalhousie University. I chose engineering because I enjoy problem-solving, learning how things work, and taking on new challenges.
After some good-natured coercion from other members, I found myself joining MANTIS to learn what goes into building a satellite. The concept of building a satellite seemed both ambitious and very exciting, so I wanted to see firsthand what goes into making one. The chance to work on a real aerospace project and gain hands-on engineering experience made joining MANTIS an easy decision.
Outside of academics, I enjoy playing the violin and boxing. I'm excited to continue learning through MANTIS, meet new people, and develop my skills as an engineer.

Hi, I'm Riley, a fourth-year Electrical Engineering student at Dalhousie. I really like Radio Frequency (RF) engineering and signal processing, which makes me very at home on the COMMs team. I love the many applications my studies in Electrical Engineering have towards music, such as synthesizers on the analog side, and developing Digital Audio Workstations (DAWS) on the digital side.
Outside of academics I also enjoy hiking!
